Ahead of the February 16th election in Nigeria, the house of representatives candidate of People's Democratic Party PDP, Segun Sowunmi, who is also the spokesman to the presidential candidate of the party Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has pleased to Nigerians to come out in mass to vote for the credible candidates (PDP) as the president, Senate and members house of representatives in the forthcoming election.
Sowunmi, while speaking with our correspondent in his home town, Abeokuta appreciates God for making Nigeria to experience democracy for solid twenty years peacefully in Nigeria.
He plead to Nigerians to vote for Atiku Abubakar, the only candidate who can help our country to grow economy, provides massive employment for the graduates, provides skill acquisition programme for the youths in Nigeria.
He also pleaded to Nigerians to vote for the only candidate who is not going to be self centred in appointments sharing, the candidate who will not use EFCC to witch hunt the opposition but declared his political party members as saint while referring to Adams Oshiomole's comment on anti corruption in Nigeria.
He charges Nigeria to vote for a competent candidate who has no health issues, the only candidate who is skillful is Atiku Abubakar who has all his families all around Nigeria namely Ibo, Hausa, Yoruba and other tribe according to his Islamic rights, to have four wives.
"Atiku Abubakar is not going to be self centred because he has his son and daughters in all parts of Nigeria by marrying cutting across all tribes"
"Atiku Abubakar is the Messiah we have been waiting for in Nigeria for long time, God has preserved him for us in Nigeria, he is for only candidate who has been clamouring for restructuring since 1994. Said Segun Sowunmi."
However he pleaded to Nigerians to move out in mass on the 16th of February to vote for Atiku Abubakar at the presidential level, and at the federal house of representatives level in Abeokuta South Federal constituency the people should vote for him for quality representation.
" Abeokuta South has been a premier local government which has successfully borrowed money from the British to build bridges, Our representatives are sleeping at the green chamber instead of passing bill in the favour of the constituents."
"Abeokuta South of the only local government and constituency which has successfully provided pipe borne water for the people, we need a quality representation in Abeokuta South Federal constituency to provide internet facilities, social amenities of world standards, free health initiative provision of empowerment to the traders and other new age facilities with the constituency allowance. Said Segun Sowunmi. "
He vowed to provide world tourist attraction in Abeokuta South Federal constituency to attract foreigners during summer periods to boost the economy of the state.
