Ahead of the February 16th general election, The leadership of National Association Of Nigerian Bloggers NANB has vowed to work with the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC on the reporting of election results.
The President of the association, Comrade Solanke Ayomideji Taiwo who is a publisher of Amebo Online Newspaper while speaking with the members over the weekend in Lagos charged them to wait for the results from INEC before publishing any results to avoid confusion and problems to the candidates.
" As we are known to be reporting with a difference, and as a professional bloggers, our duties is to report with difference to avoid national reactions, we must but the nation first in our reporting and work with the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC towards ensuring a quality result. Solanke added."
He also urge the politicians, captain of industries, banking and finance companies to encourage the bloggers by giving them advertorial as he assure them of reaching their expectations in terms of catchment.
