*Making Myself Assessable, Quality Representation Is My Priority ~ Prince Adedipe Daud Ewenla*

As election gather momentum, contenders are putting everything to place to get their grassroots penetrated and mobilise them for the continuous voters registration towards involvement in active politics in 2019.

Meet the aspirant of Alimosho constituency 01 at the Lagos State House of Assembly LAHA.

How ready are you to represent Alimosho constituent at the Lagos State House of Assembly?

I am very ready to represent the good people of Alimosho to correct the abnormalities   by putting the interest of the people at heart through setting up of constituency office where I can give back to the grassroots and assist the needy.

What is your chances of winning the primary ticket at the People's Democratic Party PDP?

I believe with God, and the support of the good people of my constituency, and party I will win the primary ticket and contest for the position of member house of assembly Alimosho constituency 01.

What Prompted your aspiration?

I am glad for this question, I am really touched with the way Alimosho constituency is been represented, you can imagine a situation whereby the current honorable representing us has no where to be traced, no constituency office, not to talk of picking up his calls when people need his assistance and presence,  I see this as outrageous behaviour to the people who elected you into office to be neglected after striving hard to get you positioned. So many things need to be corrected, and that is why a youth like me is needed for quality represention.
There are so many projects which is expected from the honourable representing us at the house of assembly which is not on place, I have personally given to the society through foundation, vocational training, sponsorship and scholarships for many who are in needs to rekindle their lost hopes.

How can you rate the present administration of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode in terms of infrastructure, health and security of life's and properties?

Indeed, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has performed wonderfully by putting in place all the expected needs of the Lagosians. Good road network, supplies of medical facilities, massive improvement in education sector and provision of security to ensure Lagosians are safe.

What is your blueprint if eventually you are elected as the member house of assembly, representing Alimosho 01 state constituency?

This is a very good question, I am going to make sure I am assessable to the constituent by having my constituency office within my people not a situation of representing Alimosho 01 and resides in Ajah and choose who to pick his or her calls, this is not going to happen when I get elected as the member house of assembly Alimosho constituency 01.
I shall make sure empowerment programme commence to make people busy, because "an idle hand is the devils workshop" when the youths are busy, they won't think of engaging in thuggery, hooliganism, cultism and other criminal activities.

I shall ensure scholarships occur for students who are brilliant but their parents are not financially buoyant to sponsor them to school, which I have been doing through my foundation even without holding any political position, this will just be a continuation of my programme.

Aged people shall be catered for and given free medical attention as at when needed.

Other activities shall be put to place to make my constituency people to feel the dividends of democracy.

What is your view over the #Not2Young2Run Bill signed into law recently by President Mohammed Buhari?

You see, the bill is useless as it is going to take effect in 2023 after the president would have won the second term election, I see no reason why aged people at 74 years still thinks they can perform more than we the youths, what I will advise the youths is to participate actively in politics to correct so many irregularities in governance with youthful skills and synergy which is still in place to change a lot of things for good.
