The senator who represented Ekiti South Senatorial District in the Eighth and Ninth Assemblies and former deputy governor of Ekiti State, Chief Biodun Olujimi, has congratulated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his victory and re-election for a second term as governor of Ekiti State.
The former Senate Minority Leader, in a statement made available to newsmen, urged Governor Oyebanji to continue delivering dividends of democracy to the people of the State.
Olujimi said, “The mandate renewed by the good people of Ekiti across the 16 local government areas is a resounding affirmation of their trust in your leadership, vision, and commitment to sustainable development.
“To win a second term in a competitive democratic contest is both an honour and a call to higher service. Apart from the fact that you have become a jinx-breaker by emerging as the first governor in the state to get a second term back-to-back, your victory signals that the people believe in the direction your administration has set and are prepared to walk further with you on that journey.
