The national president of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN ), Rev. Dr. Felix Omobude was yesterday met with Rev. Ambassador Felix Osakwe, presidential aspirant in the coming 2019 general election at his office in Benin, Edo State.
The meeting was part familiarization tour embarked upon by Ambassador Felix Johnson Osakwe to gather support for his presidential ambition.
According to his director of campaign organization, Comrade Olakunle Johnson Moses, he said the meeting was an opportunity for the two men to have a meaningful discussion on the state of the nation and the role of Christians community in building a better nation, in the light of growing concerns on the welfare of Christians in Nigeria.
He said Ambassador Felix Johnson Osakwe who is also the Chief Executive Director of Universal Peace Federation, took his time to formally seek the counsel of Rev. Dr Felix Omobude on his political aspirations.
The both Rev. while condemning the rate of killings in the northern part of the country said the Christian community was at the receiving end since the genocidal started.
The national president of PFN, later prayed for Ambassador Felix Johnson Osakwe and also asked Nigerians to be prayerful before. during and after the coming 2019 general election.
