Kaduna Gov. appoints KASU Governing Council, Parastatal Board Members

As part of efforts to strengthen governance in kaduna State, the Governor, Uba Sani has appointed key officials to drive the administration goals for development and growth.

The Governor said that the government decided to inject fresh energy into the public service, and accelerate the administration’s transformative agenda.

In order to achieve government goals, Governor Sani approved the following appointments; Audu Maikori , Chief Strategic Advisor, Inter – Governmental Affairs, Umar Uba Maicitte, Senior Special Assistant, Community Relations; and Aminu Mohammed Gusau , Senior Special Assistant – Policy Communications.

Besides, the statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor, Ibrahim Musa said that Governor Sani approved the appointment of Board members of parastatals and Governing Council of Kaduna State University (KASU).

Those appointed as KASU Governing Council members included, Dr. Ibrahim Umar, Pro-Chancellor/Chairman, Dr.Ibrahim Hamidu, Member representing Zone 1 Constituency of the State, Malam Adamu Aliyu Shika, Member Representing Zone 2 and Mrs. Ladi Barnabas Bala Bantex, as Member Representing Zone 3.

Also appointed is Alhaji Adamu Attah , as Member representing the Organized Private Sector.

Besides, those appointed as members of Kaduna Mining Development Company Management Board are, Lawal Umar Meyere , Board Chairman; Addau Ahmed, – Member Representing Zone 1
Kabiru Tsoho Yakawada, Member representing Zone 2, and Yohanna Allah Magani Christopher , as Member representing Zone 3.
