Africa’s rich culinary traditions and cultural heritage will take centre stage in London on 19 July as the third edition of the Festival of African Cuisine brings together more than 50 food vendors, fashion exhibitors and cultural ambassadors at the historic Lindley Hall in Westminster.
Held inside the Royal Horticultural Society’s flagship venue, the festival aims to celebrate the diversity of African cuisine while highlighting the continent’s growing influence on the global food, fashion and cultural landscape.
Built in 1904 and commissioned during the reign of King Edward VII, Lindley Hall is renowned for its distinctive glass-vaulted ceiling and elegant Victorian architecture. The organisers say the venue provides a fitting setting for an event designed to showcase the richness, sophistication and diversity of African culture.
