Ogun politician alleged Lagos Speaker of using hoodlums


A foremost politician in Ogun state, Honourable Sharafadeen Ogunwoolu have alleged the Lagos state House of Assembly Speaker, Rt Hon. Mudashir Obasa.

In a Press Release signed by the former Chairman of NNPP on Thursday claimed Hon Obasa of 'forcefully dislodging, forcefully blocking and attempt to allow hoodlums to vandalize my daughters property'.

According to him, Ogunwoolu said his daughter is a tenant of Chief Oluwo Rotimi at Isabo in Abeokuta area of the state where Obasa is claiming to have bought.

The matter which was said to be in court in a suit number AB/29/2024, Ogunwoolu said Obasa have no right of forcefully taking over the said landed property.

SAVE OUR SOUL IN THE HAND OF RT. HON. MUDASHIR OBASA, HIS ROYAL STREAM OIL AND GAS LTD, AGENTS AND PRIVIES

Attention of the general public is hereby drawing to the abuse of office, privilege and infringement of our fundamental right by Rt. Hon. Mudashir Obasa, Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly who took laws in to hands by forcefully dislodging, forcefully blocking and attempt to allow hoodlums to vandalize my daughters property at Isabo, Abeokuta, Ogun State where she is operating a Business Centre.

My daughter is a Tenant of Chief Oluwo Rotimi of Kemta Okebode, Abeokuta, Ogun State, the Landlord of a Landed Property situate at Isabo Junction, Abeokuta, Ogun State on which Rt. Hon. Mudashir Obasa, Chairman Chief Executive of Royal Stream Oil and Gas Limited claimed to have purchased from Abeokuta South Local Government contrary to the Land Use Decree of 1978.


While Chief Oluwo Rotimi had instituted a Suit Number: AB/29/2024 against Royal Stream Oil and Gas Limited, now pending before High Court of Justice, Abeokuta, Ogun State undetermined. 

Today, 7th day of March, 2024, a group of hoodlums, agents/privies of the Royal Stream Oil and Gas Limited forcefully entered, humiliate, forceful dislodge and blocked the entrance to my daughter’s Container at Isabo, Abeokuta, Ogun State on the order of Rt. Hon. Mudashir Obasa which is believe to be flagrant breach of fundamental right of my daughter, her staff, hence we appeal to all Human Rights Organisations, Leaders of Thought, Human Right Lawyers to save our soul from Rt. Hon. Mudashir Obasa, his Agents and Privies as our lives is at stake.
