Alice Eniola Foundation To Empower 200 People In Ibadan, Lagos

Over 200 people with disabilities, widows and less privilege from Ibadan area of Oyo State and Lagos will benefit from an empowerment programme courtesy of Alice Eniola Foundation AEF. 

The Alice Eniola Foundation was initiated for medical outreach, free treatment and drugs for the aged ones, supporting people with disabilities, alleviating people suffering through empowerments and giving scholarships to students with brighter futures.

The beneficiaries are targeted from Ibadan and Lagos to receive cash and relief materials for small scale and business start-off items.

Founder of the foundation, Alice Eniola, Said gestures became necessary to put smile on the face of people with disabilities, less privilege in the community by empowering them through the initiative.

Alice Eniola said the beneficiaries were selected through outreach through the survey to ascertain the needs of the widows, aged and less privilege in the society.

She lamented the high level of neglect of widows, aged and people living with disabilities in the country, saying that the various items donated to them would enable them to start-off small scale businesses.

She disclosed that this was second edition of the annual programme, saying the foundation is not a political and was put to place to for medical outreach for the widows, aged and less privilege in the country.

"This programme will be sustained so that many people will benefit from it as she urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the items they received.
