Ogun: Federal Lawmaker Gives Indigent Student Lifeline, Rekindles His Hope On Education

House of Representatives member representing Ijebu-North/Ijebu-East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid has offered an indigent student, Pelumi Adetunji scholarship, rekindling hope of the 15 year old boy to live a life out of the street.

Pelumi, whose video was posted on the OGUN FACT whatsapp loop by journalist and writer, Ayoade Elegbede before now sells bread at brewery end of the Lagos Abeokuta expressway. His dream is to become a pilot.

According to him, he feels hopeless as many people look down on him on daily basis while trying to make ends meet for himself and his adopted mother who also is in dire need of assistance.

As a philanthropist and grassroots lover, Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid popularly known as Attacker has promised to take care of little Pelumi's education.

In fulfilment of his promise, the Deputy Minority Whip at the Federal House of Representatives has moved to enrol him into a private school of his choice immediately, giving him every other educational material he needs.

Similarly, Pelumi's guardian also got material and financial support from Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid.

Meanwhile, Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid has charged Nigerian youths to powerfully venture into politics to change the present narratives rather than grumble and complain at all time.

While speaking on the recent ENDSARS protest which degenerated into anarchy in some parts of the country, he urged youths to shun violence, but present themselves for leadership positions to effect the desired change.
