OGUN STATE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE CONTINUES ITS SUPPORT TO FOOD PRODUCTION AND PROCESSING LOCATIONS WITH VISIT TO LARGEST AQUACULTURE/FISHERY HUB IN WEST AFRICA LOCATED IN ERIWE, IJEBU ODE, OGUN STATE

Today, 8th June, 2020, in company of the Fishery team from Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture, I visited the largest Aquaculture/Fishery Hub in West Africa, located in Eriwe, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. This is in continuation of partnership deals with Food Production and Processing Locations in Ogun State, as part of our continued resolve to ensure the delivery of plans and promises of the State Agricultural Agenda.

The Eriwe Fish Farm Cooperative Estate, Eriwe, Ijebu-Ode, is supervised by Ijebu Development Initiative on Poverty Reduction (IDIPR) with four cardinal mandates in Enterprise Development, Youth Development, Microfinance and Medical and Health Programmes.

The Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture will continue to provide free advisory services and other linkage facilities to sustain the 2,629 Farmers-Stakeholders in 153 Cooperative Groups under the auspices of the Ijebu Development Initiative on Poverty Reduction (IDIPR).
