Ogun Extending Support To Non-Anchor Borrowers Farmers During Covid-19 Period

Ogun State continues to support Non-Anchor Borrowers Programme (ABP) Food Production and Processing Locations in the Face of COVID-19 Challenges

The Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture Team was on tour of Food Production Locations in Odogbolu and Remo North Local Government Areas, on Wednesday, 6th May, 2020. These Food Production locations are being propelled by private sector participants in the State.

The Ministry is supporting the mechanized maize and smallholder maize farmers; and would work to revive the state of the art meat processing factory that is almost abandoned by the owner in Ilara Remo, Remo North LGA.

The Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture will continue to abide by the current directive by His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun, to continue to support Non-ABP farmers involved on the Food Security Drive in the State.
