Governor Abiodun Is Doing Wonderfully Well During Covid-19 Pandemic - CORPA

Abeokuta- Coalition Of Registered Political Parties CORPA has scored Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun high for  the synergy and collaborative entrenching with the federal government during the Coronavirus pandemic despite rumour by angel of darkness who are using all machineries to discredit his government.

According to the press release issued by the organization:

CORPA LAUDS GOVERNOR DAPO ABIODUN FOR ENTRENCHING HAPPINESS THROUGH COLLABORATIVE SYNERGY WITH APC LED FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ON COVID 19 PANDEMIC DESPITE RUMOUR MONGERS FALSE ALLEGATION AGAINST GOVERNOR’S AIDES

CORPA, an umbrella body of credible political parties in Ogun State rose from her inaugural conference meeting held on 14th May, 2020 at Abeokuta, reviewed the state of nation with following resolutions;

1. That COVID 19 is real and it is PANDEMIC  that turn out are all vulnerable and at the mercy of a ruthless invader which has scant respect for age, gender, religion, ethnicity or tribe. Hence we are faced with the ugly prospects and monumental challenge of grappling with a second wave of monstrous pandemic which appear inevitable. 

2. Allegation of/by disreputable media rumour monger groups led by Olaposi Oginni and his cohorts are not only misleading but calculated attempt to get cheap popularity, Governors advisers are seasoned and responsible elected leaders especially Chief of Staff to the Governor, Rt. Hon. Egbetokun, SSA on political affairs and others that served creditably in the past.

3. Our attention are drawn to activities of a faceless and disgruntle political gambler ambition to govern Ogun State having lost the primary of supposed political party platform to Senator Buruji kashamu in 2015 general election. 

4. That situation today brings us to the question of leadership and platform. The platform and current unsatisfactory architecture of leadership outlook were observed from the faceless group called league of registered political party which lacked tact and vision to understand the current situation in the country.

5. Governor Dapo Abiodun (MFR) exemptionary  leadership is appreciated as he match strength with action in the distribution of palliatives measure to cushion the effects of COVIDS 19 on the citizens governed. 

6. Gradual lockdown the Governor embarked upon thoroughly is risk taking which is vital for human and societal progress.

7. The only reason why people succeed and business expand is because of the determination to leap forward, collaborate and evolve despite uncertainties.

8. CORPA looked forward for mutual synergy in the distribution of palliatives to the citizens in Ogun State as the last distribution did not go beyond the APC party Leaders and their loyalists. The grassroots and vulnerable are totally neglected. 

9. We pledged our unflinching support to the APC led administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun and National Assembly Senators particularly Senator Ibikunle Amosun that come out clean from the current pandemic and become a role model to other state.
