Abule Egba Pipeline Explosion: 'The Police Would Have Arrested Me Again, If We Are In Election Year' - Prince Adedipe Dauda Ewenla

The CEO of Adedas and Company Global Services Limited  HON (Dr) Prince Adedipe Dauda Ewenla has given thanks to God that election is not around the corner during the recent pipeline explosion otherwise the police would have declared him wanted just as they did in the last pipeline vandal at Ekoro area of Abule Egba where 30 Trailer trucks, one Pickup, 4 houses and 2 people got burnt.

Hon (Dr) Prince Adedipe Dauda Ewenla also accused Alimosho and Ifako Ijaiye local Government of failing in their duty in the area of security which is to protect the lives and properties of the citizens in respective of tribe, religion and race.

Speaking further he said the 2 local Governments do not make use of their security votes which they should have use part of it to engage expert security to protect the pipeline that passed through their respective local Government is diverted he therefore demanded for the probing of the 2 local Governments.

In 2018/19 when there was campaign and I was contesting for their house of assembly under Alimosho constituency 01 some vandals vandalized pipeline at Abule Egba I was accused of sponsoring them the then CP Lagos State Emohimi Edgal without formal invitation declared me wanted and as a good citizen I willingly went to the state command to know why I was declared wanted by the police only for the police to detain me in the ground that I sponsored the vandalization and all because I belong to the opposition party in the state even when all the suspects arrested told the police that I did not know anything about the vandalization.

“I was locked up in the cell where hardened criminals were detained and I was only released 4 days to the election. I was not allowed to campaign all because they know my popularity in Alimosho constituency 01. “My ambition of becoming. Member of Lagos State house of assembly was traucated by Edgal the APC commissioner of police. The most painful aspect of it is that I celebrated my last birthday February 7th 2019 in police cell and my wife was detained for good 9 days for no reason

“They thought they are tarnishing my name but I thank God that there have been tremendous progress in my life”. Hon (Dr) Prince Adedipe Dauda Ewenla explained.
