Labour Party Southwest Withdraws Court Litigation Against Governor Dapo Abiodun, APC

....Upholds Babatunde Atanda As Acting Chairman

The Labour Party LP in southwest has withdrew all court litigation against Prince Dapo Abiodun and All Progressives Congress APC in the last governorship election, The southwest caucus also suspended the state chairman of its party in Ogun State, Comrade Arabambi Abayomi over crisis of confidence, maladministration and other allegations.

According to a press statement signed by Comrade Bode Simoeon, National Vice Chairman, Southwest he said he was directed by the national chairman of the party, Comrade Abdulkadir Abdulsalam to announce as follows:

That Labour Party in Ogun State is one, therefore no faction in the party., That henceforth Comrade Abayomi Olufemi Arabambi is hereby suspended indefinitely as the chairman of labour party in Ogun State state.

"Since there cannot be vacuum and to allow the smooth running of the party in Ogun State, Comrade Babatunde Ranti Atanda,The Ogun senatorial chairman of the party to take charge of party affairs as the acting chairman henceforth said Olabode Simeon."

Also, The labour party southwest dissociate themselves from litigation and legal action instituted by the erstwhile chairman,"Comrade Arabambi Abayomi" in the last governorship election in consequential at the appeal and supreme court.
