The frontline aspirant for the position of Chairmanship in Abeokuta South local government in the forthcoming local government election, Comrade Desmond Olujimi has tasked the tailors to be more creative and committed to their designing skills towards a better living.
Olujimi said this during the inauguration of new chapters of the Nigeria Union Of Tailors (Garment Division) in Abeokuta South local government.
According to him:
"Ensure you employ more professional touches to your designing, stay away from disappointment to get connections locally and internationally... Olujimi said."
He charged the members of the association to learn more on designing and packaging of their products to attract their customers far and wide.
Also, he emphasized on disappointment of customers which has been the most challenges facing the tailors in Nigeria, he said the attitude will not only disconnect customers from them but make them not be get recommendations for prospective service.
He promised to use his wealth of experience to empower tailoring association accordingly under his leadership as the chairman of the local government.
Finally, he pleaded to the tailors to learn more on designers in vogue so as to be able to compete with the local and international fashion world.
