The ROYAL AMBASSADOR OF NIGERIA, OGUN BAPTIST
CONFERENCE, under the Nigerian Baptist Convention has charged the Nigerian
government to take immediate action against all social vices across the
country.

Director made this known while speaking with our reporter today during the
campaign against social vices across Ogun state, saying the activities of evil
perpetrators need to stop, in order to have peace of mind.
Speaking on behalf of the Director, Ambassador Peter
Akinteye, the deputy director said, the activities of evil perpetrators is
becoming so alarming these days, and needed urgent attention.
He said all vices such as rape, kidnapping, cultism,
incessant killings among others are inimical to good governance, while those
behind it needs to be treated as criminals.
He then charged the citizens to also support their
plight to tell their children not to engage themselves in any vices that could
tarnish the image of the country outside the world.
In his word “We are saying no to all social vices such as Rape, Crime, Kidnapping, Cultism among others, and that is what we are preaching. As we are doing this in Ogun state, others are also doing it throughout Nigeria.
“We are telling our people that they need to change to the right path. We have taken it as a point of duty to organize, mobilize and sensitize our people across the country. As a youth, we still have the energy to mobilize ourselves and campaign towards catch them young. We are also telling our members to campaign for their friends in schools and other places.
“This is the time to let our people and government to know that bad habit is inimical to good governance, and ones we can catch ourselves young, we can then know that we are having a positive impact in our communities.”
