King Amasara Backs David Lyon Governorship Ambition .

His Royal Majesty ,  King  Dr Godswill Ogirinya , The Amasara 1 , the king of nine States of Niger Delta Youths has thrown his support behind Chief David Lyon , a gubernatorial aspirant of All Progressive Congress (APC ) in Bayelsa State .

King Dr Godswill Ogirinya said only the people like Chief David Lyon can bring desired positive change to the people of Bayelsa . He said Bayelsa State , an oil rich state has been on a stagnant position in terms of development over six years ago .

He said chief David Lyon Entrance into governorship race is a welcomed development and because Bayelsans have been clamouring for people like him to join the Governorship race for positive change .

According to him " I want to tell you today , that chief David Lyon who has just joined governorship race in Bayelsa is the rightful candidate we have been waiting for . He is a businessman with his business empire in Bayelsa here and not outside the state . He has employed some of the Bayelsa youths with minimum of 5000 to his company . 

" Let anyone who has done that come out and tell the people . Apart from empowering youths , he has contributed immensely to the economic development of Bayelsa state even before now .  I am calling on Bayelsans to support him " .he said .

Chief David , a philanthropist and Bayelsa base businessman joined governorship race on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has since changed the political atmosphere of the state as many other gubernatorial aspirants both from PDP and APC are not getting their bearing any more . 

Lyon, who hails from Southern Ijaw Local Government, regarded in terms of voter population as the Kano of Bayelsa, was among the six aspirants seeking the ticket of the APC for the November 16 governorship poll in the state.
