I Am In The Race To Defend The Votes Of The People ------ Hon. Ebitimi Amgbare .

The gubernatorial aspirant of All Progressive Congress  (APC) in Bayelsa State , Prince Ebitimi Amgbare has said he is in the race  to defend the votes of the people . 

Prince Ebitimi Amgbare  made this  known in Yenagoa while he interviewed in  one of the radio stations  in Bayelsa State yesterday . 

He said all over the world , democracy survives when we allow people to vote and also allow their votes to count and that is what keep democracy going . He said he is in Bayelsa guber race to defend the votes of the people if given the opportunity to do so by the party (APC) .

The three time governorship candidate also took the time to explain that there is no iota of truth in the rumour peddling around that APC did not have any structure on ground .He said there is no way you want to talk about politics in Bayelsa State today or anytime that you will not talk about APC . 

On his aspirationsto govern the state , Prince Ebitimi Amgbare noted that the capital city of the state which is Yenagoa must be giving a new look if is given the opportunity to rule the state . 

According to him " 100 million naira will be allocated for the State capital every month to take care of Street lights and security while 70million naira will be allocated to each of the Local government in the  State ." he said .

Apart from this , honourable Ebitimi Amgbare discussed transportation system of the State which he said his administration will provide comfortable affordable transportation system across the state for the people . So that people from Brass Local Government will be able to go to Sagbama Local Government .

While he was asking question on Zoning , honourable Amgbare said from 1999 till date no governorship election has been kept for a particular senatorial district . Everybody has been contesting and nobody sat anywhere to make concrete arrangement about Zoning .Every senatorial district in Bayelsa State has produced governor for two terms even in Bayelsa East that seems to have something like zoning .

It will be recalled that honourable Ebitimi Amgbare is from Sagbama Local Government where the sitting Governor, Henry Seriake Dickson comes from .  He started politics in 2001 from Sagbama Local Government where he contested for the position of chairmanship before he was later appointed as commissioner for Youths /Sports in Bayelsa State . This is why some people referred to him as grassroot politician .

As part of his dream to take Bayelsans to promised land , honourable Amgbare said if given the chance to rule the state he is going make his government friendly for  workers and all other Unions in the State by gpaying attention to their plights .

On security of lives and property , the APC chieftain said it cannot continue like this because it is the duty of every government to protect its citizens . He then promised to address insecurity which has been a major concern in Yenagoa and its environ .

He therefore implored Bayelsans to support his candidature so that together the State will attain its heights .He then   promised to set up 30man football club in each of the local government to participate in local league in the State which will be funded directly from office of the Governor  .
