INEC will announce Titi Oseni-Gomez as Ogun Central Senator - CNPP Chairman vows

Ahead of the 2019 general election rescheduled to hold tomorrow Saturday, not less than 29 political parties under the umbrella of Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) have reaffirmed that the group is in total support for the ADC senatorial candidate in Ogun central, Rt. Hon Titi Oseni-Gomez, hence promise one million votes.

The Chairman of the group, His Excellency, Otunba Owolabi Odebudo confirmed this to our reporter on a phone conversation this morning, saying all the chairmen of not less 29 political parties under the auspices of CNPP have agreed to work for the success of the state former speaker.

Recall that last week, shortly after the group (CNPP) general meeting held in Abeokuta, the group said it have agreed to give hundred percent of their support to the ADC Senatorial candidate for Ogun Central, Rt. Hon Titi Oseni-Gomez.

In his words, Otunba Odebudo said “I must confess to you, Ogun Central people need a good reputeable person to represent them in Abuja in 2019, and as the chairman of group, I am reaffirming to you that we have no other candidate than a woman this time around.

The candidate is not new to the people, she was the former speaker of this state in the last administration, I dont need to tell you her name, because I believe you knew her.

“Go and check records in the history of representation, most especially in Ogun central, women have done well to the people better than the so called men. Yes, I know what I am saying, let anybody come out to defend it.

“Tell your people that I, His Excellency Otunba Owolabi Odebudo, the chairman of CNPP said that Titi Oseni-Gomez is the right candidate for Ogun Central Senatorial District in this 2019. If you see anybody spending money to get people’s vote, such person is just wasting his/her time and it not for the benefit of the people but for person’s pocket.

“CNPP comprises not less than 29 political parties, and all the chairmen of those parties have agreed to give her total support for Hon. Titi Oseni-Gomez tomorrow Saturday, we held a meeting yesterday, and we have encouraged members to go out and mobilize other people to come out and vote in mass for her.”

The chairman also urged INEC to be transparent while declaring winners after the elections, so that people, most especially the foreign observers to give them kudos of their job.

On his own part, he said the president has done well with the order he gave to military men in shooting those who try to steal ballot box during and after election.
