Chief executive officer, CEO, of ACE Media Magazine and ACE Awards, Otunba Olumide Adeleke, has announced the names of the recipients of the Awards, Celebrating Excellence.
(Ace) 2025 with the aim of celebrating their super achievements in the Nigerian and around the world
Olumide, in a statement on Friday during the annual ACE Awards briefing, maintained that the Awards and it's annual public lecture "Tagged" Solving Nigeria Insecurity Challenges & Socio-Economic Recession With Youth Integration. seeks to recognize and celebrate selected Africans especially Nigerians from across the world for their immeasurable and relentless efforts in contributing to the development of our nation Nigeria and the world at large.
He noted that in the last fifteen years of Organizing the awards, they have been able to recognize and appreciate notable Icons, Philanthropists, Captains of Industries, Cooperate Organizations, Political Office Holders, NGOs, Business Entrepreneurs in Nigerian and Africa continent who have attained greater heights in their chosen careers.
Olumide stated that the last edition which was held at Lagos Country Club, Ikeja was well attended by dignitaries from across Nigeria.
"As Part of our vision on this herculean mission, we have in last fifteen years been changing narratives of award giving institutions by setting a standard for our award organisation of which our panel of judges has always decided the winners on merit without sentiments in any form. ACE Awards has never been monetized and this has earned us a good reputation amongst other institutions.
"The choice of our special awardees for this year's edition is borne out of the recognition by our noble panel of judges of their good antecedents and pedigrees which we have been following with keen interest over the years," he said.
Olumide, who spoke extensively, stated that it is noteworthy to celebrate their laudable achievements as the organization will confer on them various Awards of Excellence.
He listed the names of the eminent Africans selected for the 2025 ACE Awards to include: Former Governor and Senator Representing Ogun East, His Excellency, Otunba Gbenga Daniels; Hon Commissioner of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo; Mrs Adenowo of AD Interior; Engr Ibunkun Sonola of Formwork Construction; Aishat Achimugu, and Her Royal Highness Ambassador Aminat Tolulope Ajayi.

According to him, the essence of this Awards is to encourage them to do more and challenge others in their chosen careers despite what the country is being confronted with, particularly, in the areas of security and the economy.

He, however, reiterated his commitment to celebrate both the celebrated and uncelebrated heroes, stressing that the event is scheduled for 21st September 2025 at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja Lagos
